Growing IT Consulting Managed Service Provider in Boulder, CO is hiring a Tier I/II IT Technician. This is a challenging position where you will be able to use your existing expertise as well as learn about many different aspects of IT technology. We are an 11-person company that is continuing to grow. We provide IT support and consulting services to small and medium sized businesses in a variety of industries throughout the Denver/Boulder, CO metro area.

Job Details:
This position will primarily work 1/2 Day at customer office providing end user customer IT support and 1/2 Day providing overflow support to our Helpdesk, as well as other projects.

Other Job Requirements:
Keep customer documentation up-to-date.

Work on projects with minimal supervision.

On-Call required every 2 months for one week.

Previous experience providing end user IT support to resolve a wide range of issues, including but not limited to: New user set up, New computer set up in Domain environment, BSOD, Domain Trust issues, Network Connectivity issues, slow computer, malware remediation, Network printer set up, VPN Connection issues. Must have strong troubleshooting skills, be able to answer general end user application questions.

Basic Knowledge of the following:

  • Microsoft Windows Operating systems XP through Windows 10
  • Network Printers/Multi-function Devices
  • Windows Server 2003 through 2012.
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Active Directory
  • Group Policy
  • Managed switches/VLANs
  • Firewalls preferably SonicWALL and Fortinet.
  • VoIP phone systems
  • DNS, Domains and DHCP
  • Apple IOS experience a plus.

Customer service skills required. This skill is as important as your IT knowledge.

Ability to work independently or as a team player.

Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, high energy, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Must have valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Microsoft Certifications a plus.

Previous experience at IT Support company a plus

Bachelor's Degree Preferred or commensurate IT support experience working in small to medium business environment.
